Leaman Container, a trusted name in packaging since 1974, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday; 2:30pm – 12:30am
    • Rotate between 1 weekend of overtime and 2 weekends off. As someone working Monday – Thursday, you will work on Friday for your overtime days and get off on the following Monday.

Minimum Requirements

  • If you have proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, Leaman Container wants to hear from you! 5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. Experience in a relevant manufacturing environment (steel fabrication or blow molded plastics) is a plus!
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics. Hydraulic and electrical maintenance experience required.
  • Must know how to weld and use a cutting torch
  • Must own basic hand tools required for daily maintenance responsibilities (power tools provided).

Duties & Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime. Key responsibilities include:

  • Practice safe work habits at all times.
  • Demonstrate ability to parallel all rolls, make all required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality products.
  • Demonstrate ability to teach other maintenance classifications in all qualification requirements and proper maintenance procedures.
  • Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot programmable controllers and troubleshoot and repair all A/C and D/C drives and their control systems use.
  • Demonstrate ability to use all aspects of the maintenance software program.
  • Demonstrate ability to plan and schedule maintenance work, assign work to other maintenance classifications according to their abilities and limitations.
  • Follow up all work in order to ensure repairs and work are performed properly.
  • Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
  • Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.
  • Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts.
  • Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.

Minimum Requirements:

  • If you have at least two years of customer service experience with at least one year in a manufacturing or parts distribution environment, we want to hear from you!
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows, and Imaginera or equivalent ERP systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for receiving, processing, communicating all inquiries and complaints while interacting with customers or sales representatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service.
  • Receive, process, and monitor progress of customer orders
  • Ensure accuracy of files by maintaining up to date specification file and price changes
  • Attend production meeting sand help communicate customer priorities
  • Apprise customers of order status as appropriate
  • Facilitate process for new item creation
  • Handle customer complaints, questions, and follow-up with appropriate internal personnel as required.
  • Enhance customer relationships by maintaining specific communication patterns
  • Communicate with sales staff on a regular basis regarding activities with their respective accounts.
