Corrugated Maintenance Mechanic – Join a Company That Feels Like Family!

What You’ll Do:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain corrugated box-making equipment.
  • Partner with operators to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and keep detailed service records.
  • Stay committed to safety — because here, it’s a top priority.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Corrugated industry experience is a must.
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical skills.

Requirements:

  • 7 years’ industry experience (facility, large equipment, electrical and mechanical). Previous experience in a paperboard converting facility a plus.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective and clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting and can demonstrate solid understanding of Electrical Schematics, up to 480v 3 phase, Mechanical Systems, PLCs, HVAC, Air Compressors, Hydraulic Systems including rebuilding of cylinders and Paperboard Converting Systems with knowledge of turntables and chain transfers.
  • Basic fabrication skills include understanding assembly instructions, using tape a measure, calipers, and dial indicators. operating power hand tools including drills, grinders, sanders, drill presses, etc.
  • Basic computer and email skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary. The objective is to build a strong maintenance team and not have these; they will be limited.

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Associate’s degree in electrical and/or mechanical technology
  • Experience in the corrugated packaging industry with focus on converting equipment.

Job type: Full – time

Salary: $35.00 – $43.00 per hour

Additional: Sign on bonus
